The Jaguars girls’ basketball team at Maynard Jackson High School, the state champions from last year, are back in the fray with a 3-1 record. Their early season loss was to Creekside High School. They followed that with a 63-10 blowout of Mays High School.
The next matchup is with local Atlanta rival Midtown Knights. The Knights look for revenge for their 58-44 loss to the Jaguars in the state 5A championship last year.
