I recently bought a home in Grant Park and have been working to make my home a model of sustainability.
This Memorial Day, I plan to dedicate an electric vehicle charging station in memory of those killed in Operation Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan). The charging station will be listed on PlugShare, (www.plugshare.com) and will be free to the public.
Please join me on May 28 from 10:00am to 12:00pm for the dedication service at 512 Kelly Street in Grant Park. Grant Park Coffee House is going to cater with coffee and food.
Electric vehicles provide opportunity to directly impact the reduction of petroleum consumption and encourage development commerce within the State of Georgia. Local veterans will lead the memorial service for those killed in Iraq and Afghanistan to honor their service and encourage the public to reduce their personal petroleum consumption with advanced vehicle techniques.
