Public Official Update: Shad Rembert joined on behalf of Council Member Winston’s office. South Boulevard Complete Streets – No change in the timeline. Item One – Public Safety – APD Zone 6 & Fire Station 10 Update: Last month, neighbors voted to gift three $50 gift cards for Station 10 to provide dinner for the different crews. Those have been delivered. Lt. Jared Watkins joined to provide updates that are consistent with the last updates. We are still seeing property crimes around high-traffic areas and have made two arrests for individuals breaking into vehicles. Zone 6 is still down from crime compared to last year. He can be reached at jwatkins@atlantaga.gov with any questions. Next Zone 6 Leaders Meeting – January 8. Crime is down all over the city. Zone 6 has been doing a 4-day work week, so more officers have more time off.

The next Zoning 2.0 meeting is January 13th. More information about the zoning drafts and meeting registration can be found at atlzoning.com.
