Get to Know the Writers of Southeast Atlanta: Stay Tuned!

By Linda Bernard
Are you a writer? An aspiring writer? Or one with one or more publications under your belt?
Do you just like to read and do you visit the library regularly in search of new authors, new books, new reading adventures?
The Southeast area of Atlanta has a wealth of writers who would love to share their works with neighbors and friends.
Join them and your neighbors on selected Saturday afternoons at Ormewood Church on Delaware Avenue to hear them read from their books and answer questions about writing, their subject matter, their current endeavors, and ones for the future. Get inspired to pursue your own writing interests, or just come to listen to the many creative people in our neighborhood as they share their talents with you.
Stay tuned for future Porch Press articles with more information as plans develop. Be on the lookout for posters and flyers around the area or contact me if you are a writer or if you would like to volunteer. PorchPresswriters@gmail.com.
If you are interested in joining the Friends of the Library, you can find information about them at the library at 400 Flat Shoals Avenue SE, 30316, or on their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/friendsofeastatlantalibrary.
