The East Atlanta Village Famers Market (EAVFM) is winding down another season of great food and community. What better way to do that, than share a meal with friends and neighbors?
The final market for the 2021 season is set for Thursday, November 18, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. During the market, the EAVFM is hosting a communal potluck. All members of the Farmers Market community, and East Atlanta neighbors, friends, and family, are invited to bring a dish to share, gather, eat, drink, dance, and be merry.
The potluck will overlap the farmer’s market, so you can still do your shopping. There will be a turkey pardon at 6:00pm, a few words of thanks, then dinner is served! The party wraps up around 8:00pm. Everyone is invited, it is free to attend, just bring a dish to share.
EAV Farmers Market will reopen sometime between late March and early April. And for those of you who need your Farmers Market fix while waiting for next spring, try out the Grant Park Farmers Market (GPFM). It is open year-round on Saturday mornings, and several of the familiar famers and vendors from the East Atlanta market will be overwintering at the GPFM.
The EAVFM team is working on holiday/craft market one Thursday in December, hoping to include EACA, Eatavision, EABA, and other locals to make a fun night and holiday market vibe. More details on that to come.
