2018 marks East Atlanta Village Farmers Market’s (EAVFM) 13th year serving up local food from Georgia growers and food artisans in East Atlanta. The season will kick off on Thursday, April 13, with the return of many of your favorite EAV farmers, along side some vendors new to the farmers market.
EAVFM was the first farmers market in Georgia to accept SNAP/EBT and the first market in Georgia to match SNAP/EBT dollars. EAVFM is grateful to be part of a community that cares so much about increasing access to fresh, local produce and foods, and are also grateful for the support that the EAV neighborhood continues to show.
There will be food, drinks, music, and all the best locally grown produce and locally made food that you would want. Bring your kids to plant new seeds and seedlings at our EAV Learning Garden. Opening day of EAVFM always has been a special day for EAV when the community can gather to celebrate local food, so we hope to see you there.
The EAVFM operates every Thursday, rain or shine, through December 14 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at 572 Stokeswood Avenue in the heart of EAV.
