ONGOING EVENTS

Plant Care Beltline Arboretum, Eastside Trail. Mondays, 8:00am-11:00am. Come help care for the Beltline flora by weeding, mulching, and watering – sign up at www.treesatlanta.org.

EAVening Run. 6:30 pm. Midway Pub. Join us the first Wednesday of every month for an EAVening run with your neighbors, followed by food, drinks, and fun at Midway Pub. Every run is 3ish miles. Come run, come all!

East Atlanta Farmers Market. 4:00pm-8:00pm Thursdays through November 17. 470 Stokeswood Avenue. October plans are still in the works, but some of the rerunning ideas are the return of Pumpkin Day, movie nights, and HalloweEAVn activities. In November the annual Giving Thanks potluck, will return, in which anyone and everyone is invited to gather, eat, drink, and be merry at the final market of the season. Atlanta BeltLine Run Club Weekly Meetup. 6:15pm-8:00pm. Meets every Thursday, rotating between locations on Eastside, Westside, Southside and Northeast Interim Trails for a 2-4-mile run. Runners, walkers, and pets welcome. Free/no registration needed. See www.beltline.org for more info.

Brownwood Park Volunteer Workdays. First Saturday of every month, from 9:00am-12:00pm. Please wear masks/observe social distancing. 607 Brownwood Avenue. Park entrance is on Pendleton Street (across from the tennis courts). Our projects include removal of exotic invasive plants and replanting of native species. The effort is a joint partnership between EACA and Trees Atlanta to take care of Brownwood Park. Grant Park Conservancy, Project G.R.A.N.T. (Greenspace Restoration and Neighborhood Teamwork): Second Saturday of every month. Choose from the morning session, 9:00am-12:00pm, or the 1:30pm-4:30pm afternoon session. To sign up, see www.gpconservancy.org/events-programs/volunteer-work-days.

In addition, visitors gather at 1:00pm every Saturday and Sunday for a free tour and animal encounters at the Center, next to Arabia Mountain, at 4158 Klondike Road in Lithonia.
