Community Farmers Markets (CFM) is proud to share that its long-time Educational Director, Jenna Mobley was just recognized by Georgia Trend as one the state’s best and brightest leaders under the age of forty, in 2021.
Jenna is an educator at heart, having taught garden and kitchen classes in Atlanta Public Schools and throughout the Atlanta area. Her career began in 2008 and since then she has become one of the leading proponents (and providers) of increasing educational resources in the areas of social justice, food access, and environmental education.
With Community Farmers Markets, Jenna leads outreach efforts at schools, senior centers, and other neighborhood spaces, gathering the community around local food and sharing financial incentives that make locally grown food available at farmers markets more affordable and accessible. Her work is crucial to CFM’s mission to develop a local food infrastructure for long term sustainability and meaningful community impact.
Community Farmers Markets is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. Since 2011, CFM has envisioned a future in which Atlanta will be home to a diverse and interconnected food system that promotes healthy food, sustainable ecosystems, and living wage working conditions.
