Designed to enlighten rather than frighten, the Capturing the Spirit tours bring to life the stories of some of the cemetery’s notable residents and allow visitors to experience historic Oakland Cemetery after dark.
A costumed docent guides attendees through the cemetery’s beautifully lit Victorian gardens where they will meet some of Oakland’s most notable residents. The evening also includes musical performances, drinks, and a pop-up shop. Guests are encouraged to arrive in costume to set the mood.
Tours will take place on the evenings of the following dates: Thursday, October 20 through Monday, October 24 (October 24 is VIP night), and Thursday, October 27 through Sunday, October 30.
Visitors looking for Saturday night tickets are encouaged to check availability for tour times after 9:15pm.
