June 17-July 19 East Atlanta Kids Club Summer Sci-Tech Fund and Fitness Camp. Brownwood Park, 602 Brownwood Ave SE. No camp held July 1-July 5. The Strut will have a booth selling East Atlanta Village T-shirts and offering information about participating in the Strut. There will be a pop-up market raffle. Apologies in advance to any frightened pets. 9:30pm.
July 6 Brownwood Park Projects. For our forest restoration projects. we are out in densely vegetated areas. There will be bugs and there will be dirt, so plan accordingly. We recommend wearing long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. Our projects include removal of exotic invasive plants and replanting of native species. Tools, gloves, and instruction for these projects will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have a preference. 9am-12pm.
