GRANT PARK

Grant Park Farmers Market. 1040 Grant Street (The Beacon). Sundays, 9:00am-1:00pm, year-round.

Grant Park Conservancy, Project G.R.A.N.T. (Greenspace Restoration and Neighborhood Teamwork). Second Saturday of every month. Choose from the morning session from 9:00am-12:00pm, or the 1:30pm-4:30pm afternoon session. To sign up, see www.gpconservancy.org.  

4th Annual Grant Park Porchfest.  Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 12:00pm-7:00pm.  Corner of Grant Street and Cherokee Place.

The Grant Park Conservancy’s 5th Annual Canopy Soiree.  Zoo Atlanta at Savannah Hall.  Friday, February 28 from 8:00pm-11:00pm.  Enjoy a fun night out with your friends and neighbors while raising funds for your favorite park. Tickets available at www.eventeny.com/events/ticket.

EAST ATLANTA

East Atlanta Business Association (EABA) General Meeting. 3rd Tuesday of the month (excluding December), 6:00pm-8:00pm, includes socializing, snacks, the meeting, and 1⁄2 hour set aside for networking. Check out: www.Eastatlantabiz.com for meeting location and to find out more.

East Atlanta Chess Club. Meetings every Wednesday at Branan Towers, 1200 Glenwood Avenue. Weekly rated tournament from 6:00pm-10:00pm, and free play for those players who want to play casually. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

East Atlanta Strut Committee and Volunteer Meeting. 12:00pm at Holy Taco, 1314 Glenwood Avenue.. 3rd Sunday of the month. Interested in joining Strut as a volunteer or Committee member? The Strut is always looking for neighbors and friends to join. Check out a meeting and see how you can get involved in the best street festival around.

EAV Farmers Market. OPENING DAY Thursday, March 27. 572 Stokeswood Avenue, 4:00pm-8:00pm. Local farmers and vendors bring their wares every Thursday afternoon. Shop, eat, socialize.

Lady Locavores. In conjunction with the EAVFM, the Lady Locavores are celebrating 10 years on March 8, on International Women’s Day. This is the signature fundraiser that will be held at the Goat Farm Arts Center, located at 1200 Foster Street, NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
