Special Events

East Atlanta Parents Network – Wet and Wild!: Sunday, August 6, Brownwood Park, 607 Brownwood Avenue, 3:00pm-5:00pm. This event will be fun water activities. Come and join  to throw some water balloons, explore sensory, experiences at water tables, run through sprinklers and much more. The East Atlanta Parents Network (EAPN) strives to build a supportive, welcoming, and fun community among the families in East Atlanta. You can find more on Facebook at www.facebook.com/EAPNet or Instagram @EAVParents.

East Atlanta Strut: Saturday, September 23, East Atlanta Village and the neighborhood, 12:00pm-6:00pm. Come help the Strut celebrate its 25 years of giving back to the community, starting with the reintroduction of the Strut parade. Sponsor, volunteer, or participate. East Atlanta Chess Club: Meetings every Wednesday at Branan Towers, 1200 Glenwood AvenueWeekly rated tournament 6:00pm-10:00pm, and free play for those players who want to play casually. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
