May 20, 3:00pm – Spring Fling, Field Day Edition, East Atlanta Parents Network. Brownwood Park, 607 Brownwood Avenue. This is the first BIG event of the season. There will have music, vendors, fun filled stations, and of course, free alcohol for the adults.

May 20, 11:00am-6:00pm – Ormewood Park Makers Festival. Artist market, Maker workshops, food, music and more!

June 1, 5:00pm-8:00pm – 3rd Annual Serviceberry Fest at the East Atlanta Village Farmer’s Market. Come learn about, eat, and drink Serviceberries with local chefs, bartenders, and all your Farmers Market favorites. Tickets available on Eventbrite.

Grant Park Conservancy, Project G.R.A.N.T. (Greenspace Restoration and Neighborhood Teamwork): Second Saturday of every month. Choose from the morning session, 9am-12pm, or the 1:30pm-4:30pm afternoon session. To sign up, see

Walking Tour: History and Change on the Beltline, Eastside Trail. 2nd Saturday of the month, 9:00am-10:30am, meet at picnic tables behind Parish restaurant and end at Ponce City Market. Sign up at

East Atlanta Chess Club – Meetings every Wednesday at Branan Towers, 1200 Glenwood AvenueWeekly rated tournament from 6:00pm-10:00pm, and free play for those players who want to play casually.  All ages and skills levels are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
