With another successful Summer Shade Festival in the books, the Grant Park Conservancy is shifting its focus to building a new playground for the kids! The current park playground has served us well, but it’s time to update it for a new generation of kids. The Grant Park Conservancy is selling engraved bricks to support the build, which is scheduled to start this fall.
The well-loved bricks are a unique opportunity to support the park and make a lasting impact. You may have noticed them at the entrance of the existing playground. They display anything from names and dates to humorous sayings, marriage proposals – and acceptances! The engraved bricks reflect the spirit of the Grant Park community with creativity and a sense of humor.
So, craft your special message and claim your brick today. Each beautiful, engraved brick costs $150 and can hold three lines of text and include symbols like hearts, stars, flowers, or paws. If you’re a business and are interested in purchasing a brick to help fund the playground, bricks start at $1,000. Don’t delay; only a limited number of engraved bricks are still available!
