The Battle of Atlanta Commemoration Organization (BATL) halted their monthly tours and annual Commemoration during the pandemic shutdowns. A regular tour schedule began again in May when a full day of special tours was offered in cooperation with the East Atlanta Business Association. The tours which were sold out were reduced in size, but mask requirements were relaxed just as the date rolled around. The fact that the tour takes place completely outside helped with relaxing the COVID requirements as well. In June a tour was offered and more will be offered on Sunday, July 18 at 3:00pm (Battle Starts Here in Kirkwood) and Sunday, August 15 also at 3:00pm (Civil War to Civil Rights).
