This year on July 19th there will be two different van tours that cover different aspects of the battle and the battle neighborhoods as well as the frontlines walking tour (seen in the photo) in the East Atlanta Village area. There will also be a Battle of Atlanta bike tour and at press time plans are still being set to add a new Civil Rights Bike Tour of the battlefield area on July 20th. There will be three Cemetery tours. Oakland will have two free twilight tours that will require a special ticket from BATL headquarters on July 19th. Clay Family Cemetery tours will be offered free throughout the day on July 19th and the free tour of Sylvester Cemetery, one of Dekalb County’s oldest burial grounds, will be offered in the morning on the 19th. There will be a free tour of Fort Walker on July 20th.
