The Grant Park Conservancy (GPC) will be hosting its second annual Canopy Soirée on March 11 from 8:00pm to 11:00pm at Zoo Atlanta overlooking the African Savanna exhibit in Savanna Hall. This fundraising event benefitting the GPC will be a night to remember! Funds raised will be used to enhance historic Grant Park’s tree canopy, support gazebo-rebuilding enhancements, and bring the Summer Shade Festival back to the park in August.
The previous Soirée, held in February 2020, was the last in-person fundraising event hosted by the Conservancy before the pandemic hit. In spite of the fact that it would be the last large event many of us would attend for a while, it was deemed an overwhelming success and left attendees excited for its return. Now that we’re able to safely host events again, we are thrilled to bring back this community-centered Soirée benefitting your favorite park. It is a great excuse for neighbors to dress up, socialize and come together in an elegantly decorated ballroom. Attendees will take part in activities like dining on an amazing dinner, lots of dancing, an exciting raffle and an open bar all night long.
