Cat Rescuer Pens Children’s Book Chronicling the Cats’ Adventures

By Maria Olsen

When author Jenny Guberman moved to Atlanta more than a decade ago with 10 rescue cats, she built them a home in her backyard, full of amenities, including heat and air conditioning. Jenny and her grandchildren relished the cats’ antics and created rich stories involving their beloved pets. Chattahoochee Cats, dedicated to animal lovers and rescuers everywhere, is a delightful tale about where their energetic cats went in the wide world, teaching children along the way about other countries and self-reliance. It also teaches octogenarians that it is never too late to publish your first book.

Two kittens, their mom and big person travel the world in a fur-tingling, hair-raising adventure in the first of a trilogy of upcoming books aimed at second grade readers. There’s plenty of mischief afoot as the daring felines stow away on a blimp, explore the Alaskan wilderness and chase countless squirrels. These Chattahoochee cats will entertain children, their teachers and all animal lovers with their adventures around the globe. The book is available everywhere books are sold, including as an eBook. For more information, visit JennyGuberman.com or follow her on Facebook (@jennifer.guberman) and Instagram (@jenniferguberman).
