  • City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management was scheduled on Thursday, October 14 to clean up the litter on the bank of their adjacent Greenway property alongside Intrenchment Creek

  • Z-21-074 / Text Amendment (amended) An Ordinance by Councilmember Amir Farokhi (21-O-0456); PLEASE NOTE AMENDED VERSION AS OF OCTOBER. 1. An ordinance to amend certain provisions of the zoning ordinance for the MR-MU (multi-family residential multi-unit) district, minimum residential parking requirements, and Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs); to promote a diversity of housing options and increase housing affordability; and for other purposes. Zoning Review Board (ZRB) hearing date: November 4; 6:00pm. LUZ: Motion to recommend denial, and to address the proposed amendments as part of the broader rewrite of the 1982 zoning ordinance was adopted 23Y/2N/0 abstentions. A list of recommendations (to accompany the formal NPU-W vote) to improve the proposed changes will be drafted via work session prior to the NPU-W October general body meeting.

  • Z-21-085 / Short Term Rental. An Ordinance by Zoning Committee. An ordinance to amend the 1982 Atlanta Zoning Ordinance, as amended, by creating a definition of a “Short-Term Rental” and to allow a short-term rental as a use in certain zoning districts; and for other purposes. Zoning Review Board (ZRB) hearing date: November 4 or 18; 6:00pm. LUZ: Motion to recommend defer/deny and to address the proposed changes as part of the broader rewrite of the 1982 zoning ordinance was adopted 27Y /0N / 1 abstentions.

  • Z-21-087 / Ormewood Avenue Bridge LBS designation. An ordinance to confer upon the Ormewood Avenue Bridge landmark building status, and for other purposes. LUZ: Motion to recommend approval was adopted 26Y/0N/0 abstentions.
    • SAND: Approved LUZ motion to recommend defer/deny 13Y / 0N / 0A.
  • Z-21-097 / Rezoning in Blvd. Heights. An Ordinance by Councilmember Carla Smith. An ordinance to rezone certain properties in the Boulevard Heights neighborhood from R-4 (single family residential) to R-4B-C (single family residential conditional) to encourage compatibility of new construction with existing residential properties; and for other purposes.
