Burgess-Peterson Academy (BPA) PTA is delighted to announce that the EAV Runfest will return to East Atlanta Village (EAV) for its fifth consecutive event on Sunday, September 2, beginning and ending at 470 Flat Shoals Avenue, in the field next to the Argosy.
EAV Runfest is far from what many would expect for a standard road race. Taking place in the evening, this series of races starts at 5:00pm, with a traditional 5K, followed by the half-mile Fun Run at 6:15pm, with the event coming to a close near twilight, at 6:45pm, with a two-lap, spectator-friendly, one-mile, competitive race right through the heart of EAV. BPA Students have hand-crafted medals for all age group winners. Team winners will receive custom Catlanta artwork from artist Rory Hawkins.
Cost for participants is $30 for the 5K, $10 for the Fun Run, and $25 for the one-mile, with all proceeds from the event directly benefiting Burgess-Peterson Academy, which serves students from the East Atlanta and Reynoldstown communities.
EAV Runfest and BPA are excited to offer an active, family-friendly, Labor Day weekend event that is not only close to home, but focused on building community.
