Visions Anew Institute Announces New Executive Director

Visions Anew Institute (VAI), a non-profit that provides divorce resources, education, and support, is proud to announce that Candy Sugarman has joined the organization as Executive Director. Candy comes to VAI with an impressive background in Atlanta’s non-profit sector including work with the Partnership Against Domestic Violence and the Shepherd Center. Candy is a resident of Grant Park.
“It is important to me that the work that I do has a positive impact on someone else’s life,” says Candy. “I can’t think of a better place to be doing that than at Visions Anew Institute, where they have been transforming lives for almost fifteen years.”
VAI Founder Margot Swann says, “The Board and I are dazzled with the expertise, talent, and personality of Candy Sugarman. She is the jet fuel that will propel Visions Anew to new heights of mission-driven service and influence. Candy’s partnership undergirds my position as CEO of Visions Anew Institute.”
VAI helps men, women, and families in the midst of divorce by providing programs, seminars, and retreats that offer information from legal, financial, and mental health professionals about successfully dealing with the divorce process. VAI also offers free support groups throughout metro Atlanta.
Upcoming VAI events include a May 4 seminar for women, a June weekend retreat, an August 17th seminar for men, and an annual wine tasting fundraiser, which will be held at the Warren City Club on Thursday, April 25 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. More details can be found at www.visionsanew.org.
