The Grant Park Summer Shade Festival takes place each year to say good-bye to the summer season with a weekend of fun, including a juried and non-juried Artist Market, two stages of live music, an amazing Sunday Farmers Market, plenty to eat and drink, and special areas for kids. Held in Atlanta’s historic Grant Park, the event benefits the Grant Park Conservancy, the organization responsible for maintaining the city’s oldest public park. During Summer Shade, guests can attend Corks & Forks: A Fine Food & Wine Event, a ticketed area welcoming top Atlanta chefs who sample their favorite summer dishes and also participate in chef demos and a grill-off.
This year, the festival welcomed some 10,000 attendees and featured performances from The Whiskey Gentry, a Sunday Farmers Market and beautiful weather. Enjoy it and everyone looks forward to next year!   For more information, contact www.summershadefestival.org
