Do you like to sing?
A small group of neighborhood people gather informally once a week to sing together. We sing a variety of songs including traditional rounds which make learning and hearing harmonies easy. Please join us for an hour of relaxed, uplifting, and easy singing. All are welcome!
Time: Monday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. (starting on September 14)
Place: Ormewood Church sanctuary, 1071 Delaware Ave. (Ormewood Park) – a neighborhood church that opens its lovely sanctuary space to community activities like ours. It also has great acoustics! We are so grateful!
We learn to hold our own part as we listen to each other and sing a cappella. Performing is not an intention, but building community is. We have seasoned and shy singers in our group. Everyone is invited!
At the end of the hour, we leave with songs in our hearts, smiles on our faces…ready to meet the next step on our path. Music is the heart of spoken words. Harmony in music is the glue to community.
