GRANT PARK
Streets Alive (Grant Park). Sunday, May 18. Grant Park to West End. 2:00pm-6:00pm. Atlanta Streets Alive opens streets temporarily to bike, walk, skate, dance, and play. It’s free to the public. The event turns the streets into a park space that connects our city. Atlanta Streets Alive is part of an international open streets movement happening in many cities throughout the U.S., Canada, and around the world.
Grant Park Farmers Market. 1040 Grant Street (The Beacon). Sundays, 9:00am-1:00pm, year-round.
Grant Park Conservancy, Project G.R.A.N.T. (Greenspace Restoration and Neighborhood Teamwork). Second Saturday of every month. Choose from the morning session, 9:00am-12:00pm, or the 1:30pm-4:30pm afternoon session. To sign up, see www.gpconservancy.org.

Atlanta Fringe Fest. May 28-June 8. Two weeks of out of this world live performances! The 13th annual festival takes place May 28-June 8, 2025 (TWO WHOLE WEEKS!) at venues throughout East Atlanta, featuring live performances by 60 artist groups from across the country, as well as featured performances from some of our favorite local Atlanta artists. East Atlanta Chess Club. Meetings every Wednesday at Branan Towers, 1200 Glenwood Avenue. Weekly rated tournament 6:00pm-10:00pm, and free play for those players who want to play casually. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
