Explore East Atlanta’s unique historic character and challenge your neighborhood knowledge and observation skills this May with an architectural scavenger hunt in honor of Preservation Month.
Friends Of the Madison Organization (FOMO), East Atlanta Business Association(EABA), and East Atlanta Main Street are sponsoring a hunt that features ten historic commercial and community landmark resources in the area of the East Atlanta Village. Hunters will identify the resources based on photos of architectural details, find the architectural features, and record the corresponding address or current business name as the answer to the clue.
The hunt clues will be available as an online form at www.eastatlantabiz.com, beginning May 1. Each week throughout May, one winner will be chosen from the entries with the most correct answers. Answers will be made available at the end of the hunt to learn more about the featured buildings.
