For the last five years, the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market (EAVFM) has celebrated the winter market season and farmers market community with a potluck dinner before Thanksgiving. The event features meals from local chefs, farmers, and community members. This year, the 6th annual Giving Thanks Potluck dinner is slated for November 17 starting at 6:00pm.
On this last Thursday before Thanksgiving, the market will close early and locals will share a family-style potluck meal, together with their East Atlanta neighbors and friends. The regular farmers market will take place from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, so you will still be able to buy all your Thanksgiving food needs, and dinner will follow immediately after.
Entrance is free, and everyone is invited to bring a dish and to share a great meal with this special community.   Local EAV chefs will bring seasonal dishes, and there will be cider, and other fall inspired beverages, a bonfire, and more, but feel free to bring a dish, extra serving ware, and a chair if you can.
Join the neighborhood and celebrate Thanksgiving at the Farmers Market with good food and good people, and give thanks to this fantastic community.
