The Litespeed-BMW Cycling Team is pleased to announce the return to East Atlanta Village for the 5th annual East Atlanta Twilight Criterium.
Open to all adult categories, the event will take place on August 20. Racing starts at 1:00pm with the lower categories and races continuing throughout the afternoon and evening. The race concludes with the Pro 1/2 Men under the village’s street lights at 8:00pm. Award ceremonies will be conducted at the end of each individual race. The highly competitive and well-attended kids’ race will take place at 4:30pm and the community race will take place at 7:35pm. The Litespeed-BMW Cycling Team is an elite amateur racing team based in Atlanta, GA. The racing team has chalked up countless wins and podium finishes locally, regionally, and nationally, including State and Series Championships at both the Elite and Masters levels. The core team is represented by twelve podium finishing riders competing in Pro1/2 events in the disciplines of road, criterium, track, and cyclocross. The team races throughout the Southeastern United States and select events nationally.
Additionally, the team is proud to give back through various charitable avenues, including Spin for Kids www.spinforkids.org, a fundraising bike ride that helps provide life-changing camp experiences for children with serious illnesses, disabilities, or other life challenges.
